General questions

Do you check cars?

Yes. All our vehicles undergo a pre-delivery inspection by our trained technicians in our on-site workshop.

Can I test drive a car?

Yes. All of our vehicles are available for no obligation test drives. We would advise that you book your test drive in advance to avoid waiting times and don’t forget to bring your driving licence.

Will you MOT and Service the car?

Yes. Once you have chosen your car we will go ahead and put a fresh 12 month m.o.t on the vehicle (if less than 6 months remaining). We will also service your new vehicle where required along with Multi-Point Pre-Delivery inpsection to make sure everything is in good order and working as it should.

If I see a car on your website can I reserve it?

Yes a refundable deposit of £200 will secure your chosen vehicle for 48 Hours. Giving you plenty of time to view and test drive your chosen vehicle.

Will my car be taxed when I come to collect it?

Your car will be taxed online at the point of collection. At this stage you will have the option of 6 months, 12 months or to set up a direct debit. One of our advisors will be on hand to help you with this.

How quickly can I have my car?

This can vary from customer to customer. You can normally collect your vehicle within a week of viewing and test driving your chosen car.

Do you charge for credit card payments?

There will be a 3% Surcharge for credit card payments. There is no charge for debit cards.

How can I take a vehicle off sale?

Simply leave a deposit to secure the vehicle and arrange a collection date. The vehicle will then be prepared through our on site MOT and Service Centre. We will also valet your vehicle prior to handover.

Finance questions

Do you provide finance?

Yes. We are proven experts in providing finance for our customers in any circumstance. We are an accredited SAF Approved Dealership in association with the FLA. Our certification as an SAF Approved Dealer means that all our finance customers can rest assured that they are receiving expert information from a highly knowledgeable Motor Dealership whose staff are committed to raising standards and improving knowledge on finance sold to private and business car buyers. We have flexible finance deals to suit all budgets and can offer tailor made packages even if you have a bad credit rating. We are authorised and regulated by the FCA.

What finance rate will I get?

Finance rates will differ depending on your credit rating. We work in partnership with the leading finance companies in the UK to offer some of the best deals on the market today. Call our sales team for further information.

What documents will I need to arrange finance?

We will require a Full UK Driving Licence including Counterpart. A Proof of address may also be required. Some of our partners may also require 3 months wageslips/bank statements depending on your credit profile. If you have any questions or queries relating to finance do not hesitate get in touch.

Part Exchange questions

Do you part exchange?

Yes. Part Exchange is welcome and we offer competitive prices on all makes and models.We can even settle outstanding finance.

Warranty questions

Will my new car come with a warranty?

Yes. All vehicles over £2,500 will receive a free 3 months comprehensive parts and labour warranty. Any vehicle sold from Heartys comes with a 3 months - 3000 miles warranty This covers all mechanical and electrical and excludes wear and tear and serviceable items.
